Influence of high temperature on injection molding parts in injection molding

In the process of plastic injection molding, too high or too low temperature will have adverse effects on the injection molded parts, which will directly lead to the scrap of the molding parts. Therefore, the temperature control in the injection molding process is very important. What are the specific adverse effects of too high temperature.

 

1. Too high a temperature will reduce the viscosity of the oil

When the temperature of injection molding is too high, the viscosity of the oil will be reduced, and the leakage may increase. At this time, the volumetric efficiency of the pump and the efficiency of the whole system will also be significantly reduced. If the viscosity of the oil decreases, the oil film of the moving parts such as the slide valve will become thinner or the slope will be cut. At this time, the friction resistance will also increase, which will increase the wear phenomenon.

2. Accelerated oil oxidation and deterioration

Too high temperature in injection molding will accelerate the oxidation and deterioration of oil, resolve the material of asphalt and reduce the service life of hydraulic oil. The separated material will block the damping hole and gap type valve port, which will cause the pressure valve to be stuck and unable to work, the metal pipeline will be extended and bent, and even crack.

3. As a result, the working quality of injection molding parts becomes worse

If the temperature of injection molding process is too high, the working quality of injection parts will become worse, and dissolved air will escape from the oil, resulting in cavitation, which will reduce the working performance of the hydraulic system.

4. Cause the phenomenon of mechanical thermal deformation

Hydraulic components due to different coefficient of thermal expansion of the components to cooperate with the trainee to appear smaller and stuck, will cause work failure, seriously affect the transmission accuracy of the hydraulic system, resulting in poor working quality of injection molding parts.

The above four points are that too high temperature in the injection molding process is easy to be unfavorable to the injection molding parts.
